Business Manager - OR

This job is responsible for assisting in program development, clinical, competitive and fiscal performance of the Perioperative Services Department.  Reporting directly to the senior director, this person will provide leadership to ensure success in analyzing and monitoring the internal and external environment affecting the department as well as and monitoring the use of resources and financial performance.  Will manage department  budget, work closely with managed care contracts, manage business office personnel and processes, and generally ensure efficient operation of the department.  Will assist senior director in all aspects of departmental operations.

 

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or MHA preferred.  At least three years of management experience in healthcare operations preferred, particularly in operating room operations.  Must have strong financial analysis skills, experience with contract management, and previous experience developing management personnel.  Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint required.  Demonstrated management and leadership skills essential.
