Certified Firefighter Needed

Company Information: Located on Kwajalein,Marshall Islands in the Pacific. General Requirements: HS Diploma or Equivalent, Graduation from a recognized fire academy resulting in International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (ProBoard) certification as a Firefighter I and Hazmat Awareness Operations. All qualifying certifications must be listed within the DoD Certification Look Up System. 2 yrs experience as a paid-professional firefighter. Fire Science Degree (AS or BS) may be substituted for experience and fire academy training if candidate possesses IFSAC or ProBoard Firefighter I and Hazmat Awareness and Operations certifications. Per GS081 series, maximum age for entry into the Fire Protection Specialist field is 37 years and candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidate must pass a thorough physical fitness exam IAW NFPA 1500, and drug testing.

FIREFIGHTER POSITIONS:

Locations on both Kwajalein and Roi Namur Responds as a team member of fire and emergency crew to save lives, provide first aid, preserve property, the environment and mission functions. Mitigate hazards during fires, medical emergencies, hazmat incidents personnel rescues, natural disasters, aircraft incidents, and other emergency events.
