We are seeking a Charge Processing Supervisor in our Walnut Creek office located in Northern California

Job Description:

The Account Processing Supervisor will work with a staff of fifteen to twenty employees and will be responsible for oversight of charge processing. This will include: hiring, training and development, team building, directing and reviewing of assigned staff. Included within this is ensuring team and corporate policies and procedures are followed and quality and productivity standards are met. Supports client physicians as needed. Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills required.

Job Requirements:Business Degree or equivalent related experience. A minimum of 4 years of supervisory experienceExperience in a physician billing office or medical insurance environmentWorking knowledge of ICD-9, CPT4 and ASA codes, and associated modifiers. Accreditation with the American Academy of Professional Coders, or AHIMA preferredProficient in Microsoft Work, Excel and OutlookLeadership skills including the ability to motivate staff analyze problems and conduct productive team meetings.
