Job Details: JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Community Health and the Safe Kids Coalition Coordinator conduct child passenger safety seat education/inspection and distribution programs. Knowledgeable about current laws regarding child passenger safety and recalls of specific brands/models of child safety seats.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Holds a current National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Child Passenger Safety -Technician certificate for a minimum of two years prior to hire.
-Able to document a minimum of 60 hours of hands on child safety seat inspection under the supervision of a NHTSA certified instructor.
-Able to work with diverse populations. Bilingual ability an asset.
