Clinical Applications Specialist- Life Support Systems

CITY: New York STATE: New York COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
In your role as a Clinical Applications Specialist for GE Healthcare (GEHC) you will have responsibility for increasing the sale of GEHC products to the medical community by assisting the field Sales representatives with pre-sale and post-sale customer support including on site clinical in servicing, go-live support and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include:
*Ability to demonstrate and receive feedback on clinical applications & operations of GE Healthcare Anesthesia products for Customers during pre-sale and post-sale situations
*Work with the Sales organization to clinically support GEHC customers in pre-sales and post-sales situations
*Actively participate in regional Sales meetings to update Sales on issues
*Working with the Project Manager and Service Organization teams to coordinate training events at the assigned customer installation site
*Actively participating in the development of customer training tools and providing input in regards to relevant clinical tools needed for future products and services
*Communicating all relevant customer information including product and/or customer problems or opportunities to Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Response Team and Technical Support
*Supporting professional trade meetings/shows, as requested by sales organization, by providing clinical lectures, receiving customer input, and demonstrating GEHC anesthesia products to enhance the sales process
*Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records
*Proactively manage communications with customers, with emphasis on customer loyalty and satisfaction
*Providing communications with customers to ensure problem resolution and follow-up to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction
*Managing all demonstration equipment and other company equipment inventory ensuring all are properly maintained in good condition
*Resolving customer service delivery issues and participating in root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Associates degree from accredited Respiratory Therapy program
*Registered Respiratory Therapist recognized by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
*Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.
*Willingness to travel a minimum of 60% within your specified geographic region
*Willingness to take a drug test.
*Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
*Candidate must be willing to work out of an office or home office located in New York, NY
*Must have a valid driver's license
*To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, candidate must be willing to submit to a check of his/her driving record
*Candidate must be willing and able to work with computers including the following applications: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Windows.

Desired:
*Bachelors degree from accredited Respiratory Therapy program or related field of study
*Specialty in Anesthesia or practical experience in Operating Room Anesthesia
*Preferred two years experience in critical care ventilation
*Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner
*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process
*Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns
*Exceptional interpersonal skills
*Exceptional skills as a change agent and process oriented individual
*Stress Tolerance: Accepting constructive criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations. This includes continuing to persevere and remaining calm in challenging or frustrating circumstances
