OrthoRx, Inc., a leading orthopedic durable medical equipment company, has a career opportunity for a Clinical Assistant located in Shreveport, LA.
Clinical Assistants provide technical expertise in patient education for durable medical equipment. Explain insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility. Coordinate with physicians, clinical and surgery center staff for the provision of products to patients. Complete documentation according to procedures for reimbursement as provided under the patient's plan.
Qualified candidates should possess the following:BA/BS and two years related experience.Licensed or NATA Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Orthotic Fitter, or comparable professional medical certification preferred.Professional image, technical product and clinical competency, computer literacy, excellent verbal and written communication skills.Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
