Clinical Care Mgr

Overview : FT Days: May require rotating weekends as needed by the department.

This position requires Pediatric Oncology experience.

Responsibilities :

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive care coordination for patients. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in care of patients in age groups served. The level and intensity of care coordination provided is situational and appropriate based on patient need and payor requirements. Maintains a depth and breadth of clinical competence and knowledge required to assess outcomes related to the age groups served. Demonstrates Service Excellence in daily activities by modeling the service standards and reinforcing the efforts of others.

Qualifications :

This position requires current Arizona RN licensure. Minimum of five years clinical nursing experience; at least two of those years in the clinical specialty area. A BSN degree is required, Master's degree preferred. Must have a working knowledge of care management, resource/utilization management, and hospital and community resources. Must demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and time management skills. Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team format. Must be able to work flexible hours and take rotating call after hours.
