Our nationally recognized hospitals and affiliation with Washington University School of Medicine ensures our goal to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.  We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Management Engineer within the Care Delivery Transformation Team.

 

Job Description:

 

Overall the Clinical Management Engineer will work in partnership with the Project Director and Facility Project leads to redesign BJC?s Care Delivery model at several hospitals.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:Define the process requiring improvement.Develop a project charter.Develop project schedules and perform project management to ensure timely project completion.Develop data collection tools and collect data.Measure current performance using descriptive statistics, statistical process control, or process capability analysis.Develop process maps of existing process using appropriate software.Analyze collected data using advanced statistical techniques such as statistical process control, process capability analysis, regression analysis, anova, chi-square and other univariate and multivariate statistical techniques.Improve the process using sophisticated methods such as design of experiments, FMEA, re-engineering, mistake proofing, lean techniques.Develop and implement control plans that establish data collection methods, performance measurements, statistical process control, and accountability.Train individuals in the use of process improvement techniques and methods.Develop datasets, examples, and PowerPoint presentations regarding the DMAIC process improvement methodology.This material should comprise two full weeks of training.Explain statistical analysis techniques, statistical process control, and process capability analysis in language that is understandable to non-statisticians.

 

Job Requirements:Strong Process Improvement skillsClinical/Healthcare Experience strongly preferredSix Sigma Black Belt strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsBachelor?s Degree
