Overview : Shift: Day Hours: 36 hrs/wk Telemetry 3A is a telemetry floor with a post open heart focus

Responsibilities :

Plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff; in addition provides clinical leadership, financial and personnel management within the department. Supervises employees, and participates in selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff. In addition, participates in leadership and quailty improvement processes in the deptartment.

Qualifications :

Requires a registered nurse with a current license. BSN or healthcare related Bachelor's degree is preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability and at least two years of clinical experience relevant to the patient poplulation and scope of care of the department is required. The ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required.
