Clinical Mgr

Overview : FT Day position for Clinical Manager for L&D. Hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Responsibilities :

Plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff; in addition provides clinical leadership, financial and personnel management within the department. Supervises employees, and participates in selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff. In addition, participates in quality improvement processes in the department. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to organize and provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in assigned unit.

Qualifications :

A current or temporary Arizona or other compact state RN licensure (or the ability to obtain one) is required. Bachelor's Degree in healthcare is preferred or equivalent related experience. Demonstrated leadership ability and at least three years of clinical experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the department is required. The ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required. At least 3 years of L& D experience required. Management experience preferred.
