JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking dynamic, proactive Nurses to work within our innovative and individualized clinical programs, providing information and support for total health management, to help members achieve/maintain their optimal state of health. Our programs will be able to view Aetna members holistically considering multiple diseases or conditions across all benefit plans and deliver individualized programs based on their unique needs and preferences. We utilize criteria-decision support tools to determine the medical appropriateness of care options and services that will lead to the best outcomes for our members.


SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Registered Nurse with current state license and a minimum of three years recent clinical nursing experience. Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment in decision making, utilizing all relevant information to effectively influence behavior. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills, effective time management, ability to manage multiple priorities and strong teamwork skills. Candidate must possess strong computer and keyboarding skills. Knowledge and experience in managed care is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
