Clinical Nurse Researcher

Mission Hospital is a member of the St. Joseph Health System, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Researcher who will plan, develop, conduct and communicate findings of original research requiring comprehensive knowledge of nursing, biological and social theories, and research practice and procedures.  Duties will also include participating in the education and implementation of research protocols and practice changes that have resulted from findings, while collaborating with all levels of staff to ensure patient safety through proper maintence of said protocols. 

Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing; 2-3 years of clinical research experience; current CA RN license; BLS from American Heart Association; active member of professional organization.  Ph.D. and/or Director of Clinical Research Program preferred.
