Clinical Outreach Specialists
As a Clinical Outreach Specialist, you?ll work out of your home as a representative for the Center for Tobacco Independence. Reporting to the CTI Associate Director, Specialists learn presentations, collaborate to promote tobacco treatment in Maine, and travel to physician offices throughout the state. We have 3 openings in the Bangor, Lewiston/ Auburn, and Portland areas, between 12 and 20 hours per week each position.
Candidates require an advanced degree in healthcare management, public health, nursing, or medicine; 3 years? experience in public speaking and with delivering education/outreach and multimedia presentations to healthcare providers; knowledge of regional and local health-related networks; a self-motivated demeanor; and the ability to generate clinical speaking engagements, work independently within a defined structure, and maintain and carry approximately 50 lbs. of training materials. Experience with tobacco control efforts preferred.
