Clinical One Case Management Group is currently seeking a Clinical Review Analyst to work in the Appeals Department at one of our client facilities in Cypress, CA.


***Candidates must be a licensed RN in the state of CA***

This candidate will be performing medical review under strict timeframes. Will be handling standard cases which have a deadline of 30 days to bring case from start to finish. Prefer candidate to have previous managed care experience, utilization management or have worked with a health plan in the past. Candidates who are coming directly from the hospital scene or have not had prior case management experience will not succeed in this position.

Any candidate having APPEALS experience would be best. Need to have prior review or case management experience to understand the cycle of how an appeal is either denied or accepted.

MUST have strong communication skills to work effectively with the office.
Must have PC skills, experience with Word, Excel, and be overall computer literate. Will need to run reports and be able to navigate within internal databases.

A Special Project Nurse/Medical Professional will be responsible for completing auditing and/or medical records review projects. Responsibilities WILL include medical records reviews, data collection, chart abstractions, reporting and analyses. Must have good communication skills to interface with United Health Services personnel and be deadline oriented.

Hours are 8-5, office environment
