Compliance Manager - Education, Reimbursement and Monitoring

We are currently seeking a Manager of Education, Reimbursement and Monitoring for the Mount Sinai Compliance Division.  Responsibilities include:

- Creating policies and procedures for Compliance office education and training requirements;

- Developing and designing the policies and procedures for the clinical documentation and billing monitoring program;

- Establishing the monitoring program elements including sample size and rational, and evaluation/review elements - creating documentation templates, evaluation tools, resource/data requisites and regulatory guidance;

- Developing the education and training division work plan which maximizes completed monitoring initiatives, always ensuring that high risk areas are being monitored regularly;

- Planning and executing the multiple education and education program curriculum; and

- Developing the division master work plan as well as annual project plans.Education & Experience

B.S., Masters preferred.  7-10 years' healthcare experience in Compliance, Medical Records, Billing or Hospital Operations, including managerial experience.  Strong compliance background preferred.Excellent communication skills - must be able to make presentations to senior management.  Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, Miscrsoft Project Planner and PowerPoint.
