Correspondence Supervisor

Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Inc. has been an innovator in providing quality health coverage for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a Correspondence Supervisor to join our team of professionals.

Position Summary:

The Correspondence Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision of staff to meet departmental and corporate goals and objectives to ensure that all provider inquiries are resolved, to the satisfaction of the provider, and within all regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

? High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

? Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience including demonstrated project management experience.

? Minimum four (4) years trainer or senior level experience in an area that services customers/providers is required.

? Verifiable working knowledge of computers, including windows technology, Word and Excel is required. MS Access is preferred.

? Three (3) years supervisory experience required. Health Insurance experience is preferred.

? Verifiable ability to effectively communicate on a verbal and written basis with provider and other persons associated with Capital District Physicians? Health Plan is required.

? Verifiable ability to coordinate the workflow, direct and train staff in contract interpretation, claim/appeal processing requirements and provider services is required. Experience in call center environment is preferred.

? Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving methodologies to organizational problems is required.
