Customer & Market Insight Manager - 19013

Will operate as "right hand" to Marketing Executive. Will work on supporting the development of marketing strategies: including secondary research, analysis, creating PowerPoint presentations, and project management.

 

Provides customer and market insight to business partners to help grow the business and retain profitable membership for assigned WellPoint region, brands and business segments. Develops and oversees execution, analysis, communication and use of timely, actionable market and customer information. Demonstrates solid understanding of the business and works collaboratively and proactively with research leadership, regional peers and business leads. Builds collaborative and trusted relationships with business partners. Accountable for driving insight into the organization. Participates in developing the annual Research plan and calendar for designated region. Responsible for efficient and effective management of research budget. Guides analysts and vendors in development, execution and analysis of research initiatives. Supports assigned CBE(s) as well as business segments within region.

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research or Social Sciences, Masters degree preferred, and 7-10 years experience in an analytical business field such as market research, business intelligence, business development or business analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires secondary research experience, analysis, advanced PowerPoint and project management experience, effective interpersonal and vendor management experience, and the ability to develop successful business client relationships and influence others. Health insurance industry knowledge and experience preferred.
