DIR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES HH

Candidate will direct all programs, services, organize functions, activities and staff of the Environmental Services Department to maintain the hospital facility in a sanitary, orderly, safe and attractive condition. Excellent customer service with the ability to effectively communicate positively with staff at all levels. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA regulations. Works under the general direction of the Vice President of Hospitality Services.

Required Background: Bachelor's degree in hospital services administration, hospitality, industrial sanitation or other related area. Must also have 5 years of experience in health care housekeeping and environmental services with at least 3 years of desired management experience. Verbal and written communication skills required to supervise employees and perform various tasks such as interviewing candidates, training new employees, and directing the work of others. Must have physical ability to handle heavy equipment, push and load carts, and move boxes weighing more than 50 pounds.
