Job Description:

This is a new, one of a kind and very rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Risk Management leader to make a significant impact on the Caritas System captive insurance company ? The Tailored Risk Assurance Company (TRACO). This is a very independent leadership role where you will be charged with building a unified risk management function from the ground up relating to 300 attending physicians tied to practices throughout the Caritas system.?????

Key Initiatives:

-????????? Develop and implement an audit tool and conduct detailed risk management assessments of the office practices of physicians insured by the Caritas Christi captive insurance company, the Tailored Risk Assurance Co. (TRACO).

-????????? Develop a communication tool for periodic distribution to TRACO insured physicians, and provide risk management advice to physicians and their office staffs to reduce malpractice exposure.

-????????? Create and implement office practice guidelines to enhance patient safety and to reduce risk exposure, and create System-wide risk management initiatives.

-????????? Prepare and conduct risk management presentations and educational training at Caritas Christi facilities.

-????????? Maintain active membership in the Mass. Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and participate in Caritas Christi committees as requested.

Experience and Qualifications:

-????????? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience

-????????? 5+ years of leadership experience with clinical risk management initiatives ideally with building or re-engineering the Risk Management function in a large group/physician practice setting.??

-????????? Hospital setting risk management may be considered

-????????? Excellent inter-personal skills

-????????? Very knowledgeable on risk management initiatives, issues, and regulations
