We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Data Reporting Specialist,Senior who will assist in the completion and/or complete custom scoping and projects delivered by Custom Solutions. The senior specialist will be required to make independentjudgment calls regarding data quality and adhere to department standards. Advanced programming skills are necessary to perform the role, but ability to focus on details as well as having an overall perspective of the use of health care data is pertinent to the role.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create original code to process and summarize data for complex projects.

2. Provide data summaries and analysis via output data files.

3. Work with project team to fulfill contracted custom studies.

4. Conduct quality review of colleague work product.

5. Manage some of the work effort involved of peers on project tasks.

SKILLS REQUIRED Multitasking ability - the candidate should be able to manage two or more disparate projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality Ability to solve intellectual and/or practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and/or concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization may or may not exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Excellent communication skills - the candidate should be able to discuss technical issues with technical and non-technical audiences and work in a multi-disciplinary environment.Organizational skillsAbility to estimate and meet realistic timelinesStrong analytical skillsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and a team player.Experience in documentation of code and/or processes.A minimum of three years of data processing in Informix and/or SAS and/or SQLUNIX Platform experienceHealth care industry background is strongly preferred3 -5 years of experience required

Education Required:

BS in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science or related field
