Dementia Program Coordinator ? Assisted Living ? Sunnyvale
Hours: Tuesday thru Saturday 10am - 6:30pm

The Program Coordinator designs individualized activity programs for our senior residents, tailored to their functional level, lifestyle preference and remaining abilities.

The Program Coordinator provides direct supervision of the Dementia program by: Providing daily caregiver assignments Training and orienting new caregivers in the Neighborhood area Ensuring consistent resident documentation Ensuring consistency during a typical day Monitoring resident activities of daily living Conducting random room inspections Maintaining a positive and productive work environment Participating in family events and promoting partnership with resident's families Maintaining the flexibility of the work schedule

REQUIREMENTS: Some college - preferred in Psychology, Geriatrics or Teaching Minimum of 1 year hands-on resident activity facilitation experience in a dementia environment Minimum of 2 years shift lead experience
