JOB SUMMARY: 


This position is responsible for the development of programs focused on customer retention and increasing customer/member satisfaction. Customer satisfaction and retention is a high priority for Health Net and the goal of the Director Retention is to build customer loyalty, lessen customer turnover, and continually improve retention rates of members.  This position extends across all lines of business in SPD.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Establishes a strategic plan to ensure customer satisfaction with and loyalty to the Health Net Medicare product Coordinates the on-boarding process for new Medicare customers including introductory call strategies and Welcome Kit materials. Implements retention programs.  These programs include senior events, newsletters, on-going communications and other programs Develops and manages loyalty and cross selling programs Monitors the effectiveness of these retention programs through various metrics including review of customer retention and turnover rates Maintains effective relationships and ensures that customers’ needs are met
 




EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Experience: 


Five to seven years progressively responsible business development positions in the health care industry.


Education:


Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven track record in customer relations Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to strategically develop project plans Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of Medicare products

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
