Outstanding Opportunity for a Director of Transplant Services, Transplant Administration

 Job Duties

 Coordinates and directs administrative and transplant activitiesGuides and directs development of philosophy, goals and objectives regarding transplantation and organ and tissue donation within the UniversityIdentifies, plans, implements and coordinates transplant related programsMonitors federal and state legislature initiatives and evaluates existing policies to ensure complianceOversees development and maintenance of a centralized database for transplantationEvaluates all financial data, both prospectively and retrospectively, to ensure that transplant services are delivered in a cost efficient, competitive and quality mannerDevelops and maintains effective relationships internally and externally with physicians, staff and community stakeholdersCollaborates with the transplant team to develop strategy for transplant service line growthSupports research and education practices in the transplant service line

 

Preferences

 Experience in directing an organ transplant programMaster?s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing Administration or related areaEight years of progressively more responsible management experience, demonstrated leadership, human resources, and effective communication skills

 Skill Set
