Director of Volunteer Services/Inova Health System
Responsible for the management, development and daily operation of programs and services of the Volunteer Services Department (1200 volunteers). This includes the planning, training, implementation, evaluation, administration and all financial aspects of a comprehensive Inova Fairfax Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary Program to provide the manifold volunteer services to the Inova Fairfax Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children/Inova Heart & Vascular Institute. This also includes all aspects of the operation of an on-site Gift Shop and an off-site Thrift Shop. Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Represents the Inova Fairfax Hospital Volunteer Department on various hospital and system committees. Supports and advises Auxiliary Board.
At least 3-5 years previous experience in a large hospital setting with previous large-scale community and volunteer service experience required. Supervisory experience and effective communication skills required.
