Overview : This position is responsible for administering claims and controlling medical costs and liability resulting from non work related injuries or illnesses.

Qualifications :

Requires three years clinical experience. Must possess thorough knowledge of benefits legislation, i.e., ERISA and FMLA along with medical terminology. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills and deal with a variety of difficult and complex human relations situations. Effective organization and accounting skills are required. Proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment using Word, Excell, Outlook as well as general typing abilities of 40 wpm. Mathematical and recordkeeping abilities are needed for this position. Ability to interact with employees in all levels in person and by phone to provide optimum customer service. Must be able to organize and prioritize daily work loads to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Demonstrates behaviors which are consistent with BHA Service Excellence Standards.
