Disease Management Subject Management Expert (MMP)Position Description

Primary responsibilities are to ensure that the MMP platform and supporting modules meet all business, operational and clinical needs. This is including, but not limited to, application and program design; identification, documentation, review and evaluation of business/functional requirements for the platform, and providing expert product knowledge support to the entire MMP onsite and offshore working teams.


Key Responsibilities (List five to seven essential responsibilities):

Provide critical input into application and program design of DM component of MMP
Write business requirements to support software application releases; participate in software requirements and product design sessions as required
Provide support and act as liaison between product management, development, project management and development partner to help resolve development-related issues
Responsible for providing product knowledge support to the entire MMP onsite and offshore working teams
Participate in development/review of functional specifications and use cases
Participate in review/evaluation of produced design documentation, detailed requirements and prototypes
Participate in setup and coordination of user acceptance testing
Provide project status to Product Management lead and project management team


Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training ? 4 year degree preferred in Marketing, Business, technical, clinical or related field or equivalent experience

Business Experience
Possess a minimum of 4 years of product management, program or equivalent experience in disease management. Proven experience in application and program design. Proven experience in business systems analysis and project management with a development and managed care background preferable.

Preferred Qualifications -
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of disease management programs
Proven experience in application and program design of disease management programs
Previous experience working with offshore development partner
Ability to understand conceptual models (semantic and logical models) and application development processes
