Job Summary:

 

This role provides an opportunity in the WellCare Compliance, Communication and Training Team specifically geared to Operational functions and other areas as needed.

Under general supervision, writes technical materials, documents Operational procedures and processes and prepares manuals to support training and communication business needs. Works with business units to gather information and ensure materials are accurately documented.

 

Essential Functions:

 Document Operational processes and procedures to support web based reference library. Create technical materials to support Operational business initiatives. Gather information from various resources and identify best methods for documentation. Validate information to ensure accuracy of written materials. Design forms and standards to ensure consistency in documented references. Update and revise technical materials as needed.Write documented training content.Put on-line resources in help files.Implement step action procedures.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

 

Education/Experience: Required Associates degree or higher. 3-5 years technical writing experience to include help file procedures within a corporate environment. Experience with government programs, Medicare and Medicaid preferred. Experience with online training / computer based learning preferred

 

Computer Skills:High proficiency in using MS Windows environment. Daily use of MS Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software to produce medium to highly complex project plans, presentations, documents and materials. Proficiency in MS Outlook, email utilization and Internet research. Exposure to insurance plan software a plus (Perot Systems -- Diamond).

 

Working Conditions:Excels in deadline-driven environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Required travel (as needed by Training Manager) to other WellCare locations not limited to Florida, New York, Illinois, Connecticut and Georgia for business. Occasional project work that may include weekend and or early/late weekday hours.
