Job Description:



Responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., and the entire dishwashing work area.  Ensures proper use of all equipment including dishmachine, cart washing equipment and all carts.  Also ensures proper use of all chemicals.  Assists with delivery of patient meal carts to floors and the return of carts to the dishroom.  Returns carts to proper area in kitchen.  Assists with floor upkeep and maintenance in food service facility.  Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal sanitation guidelines.  Logs dishmachine temperatures on the HACCP logs on daily basis.  Empties trash.  Any other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
