The County of Riverside is looking for qualified

Fire Safety Supervisors, Fire Safety Specialists, and Fire Systems Inspectors to perform technical

building plan checking and fire system inspections for fire and building code compliance.

 

Fire Systems Inspector: One year experience required performing fire safety inspection, building construction inspection, and fire suppression, or 15 semester units from an accredited college in Fire Protection or Building Construction Technology.

Fire Safety Specialist: Two years experience performing fire safety inspection, building construction inspection, or plans examination; an Associate Degree in Fire Protection or Building Construction Technology may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

Fire Safety Supervisor: Five years of progressively responsible experience performing advanced-level plan review and fire inspections related to application of fire and building code or equivalent education, training, and experience which demonstrates possession of the listed knowledge and abilities.
