Food Service Director

DESCRIPTIONHarborside Healthcare, a leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare, we have an opportunity at our Greenwood facility located in Warwick, Rhode Island. We are seeking a full-time Food Service Director.

Training and experience in food service supervision and management within a healthcare setting.

The Food Service Director is responsible managing the planning, organization, development and direction of the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with guidelines and regulations.REQUIREMENTSIdeal candidate will be a team player, have experience in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff, implementing cost controls and maintaining costs within the budgeted amounts for food, supplies and labor.

Will also develop production guidelines based on the planned menu.

Ideal candidate would be a Registered Dietitian or have a bachelor?s degree with major studies in food and nutrition, dietetics or food management. Must have experience in healthcare foodservice management, with CDM preferred but not required.
