Position Description

Plan and administer development programs that generate revenue from a private and corporate foundations maximizing support for the strategic and mission driven initiatives of the Medical Center. Manage the foundations relations program and identify funding opportunities, and formulate, submit and track grant requests, and develop a strategically driven approach and plan to maximize revenue support through grants.

 

Education & LicensureBachelor?s degree Five years experience in grant writing and foundation relations, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proven successful track record securing grants from foundations and corporations.Able to develop project budgets and have familiarity with raisers edge software.Knowledge of grant development practices and the dynamics of foundation and corporate giving. Familiarity with healthcare issues/trends and local and national grant-making sources.
