HOME HEALTH SCHEDULER

Erickson?s newest community retirement community, Eagle?s Trace, located just south of Interstate 10 on Highway 6, opened in October 2005 and we will continue to grow until we are serving 2500 Houston seniors and employing 900 Houstonians. We are currently searching for a qualified Home Health Scheduler to work as a part of our Home Support team. 

 

If you have what it takes to work for a rapidly growing but well established company where determination, growth and learning are appreciated and you are a certified CNA with at least one year administrative experience in a home health agency, we would enjoy hearing from you.

 

Our Home Health Scheduler is responsible for the coordinating and scheduling of Home Health Aides and other services for residents requiring Home Support Services.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Ensure all clients receive home health aide and other services as requested according to the plan agreed to between the nurse and the client.

? Assign aides accurately, consistently, and timely.

? Minimize downtime and overtime of caregiver staff to help ensure financial viability of the department.

? Maintain information accurately in the scheduling system.

? Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours scheduling issues.

 

We require:

? Current CNA certificationHigh school graduate or equivalent

? At least one year of administrative work in a home health care setting

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Very strong organizational skills

? Ability to effectively work with a diverse employee work group.  Ability to master the scheduling system quickly, and to perform basic functions in Outlook and Word, as necessary, prior experience with scheduling software a must
