Health Care Analyst
This position is responsible for the analysis of Brown & Toland's utilization, claims, pharmacy and other health services databases. The ideal candidate will assist with the development of queries, data dashboards, hypotheses and cost-benefit analysis. This position will also conduct analysis of network physician coding and billing practices.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree required, Masters of Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Business (MBA) preferred. Course work or equivalent experience in statistics, business and health care required.
- 5 years experience in quantitative analysis. Experience in a health care delivery system required.
- Knowledge of health care terminology, diagnostic and billing codes; advance knowledge of database management and statistical programs; ability to perform cost-benefit analyses.
- Strong English communication skills including verbal and written reports suitable for presenting to an Executive Management Team.
