CFMC, the official QIO for the state of Colorado since 1974, works collaboratively with government programs, health providers, and managed care companies to improve the quality of health care. Position provides analytic functions that support and enhance CFMC Medicare contracts. Requires demonstrated understanding of research methods and basic statistics, including the development of research proposals and demonstrated proficiency in SAS or other statistical programming language. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases preferred.
Requires bachelor?s degree in a relevant field such as public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field. Masters preferred. Minimum of three (3) years professional experience using Statistics. Two (2) years experience in the area of health care research activities desirable. Experience with multiple software packages including: statistical (SAS), spreadsheet, word processing, and graphics packages for the PC. Experience with the application of statistical theory to evaluation methodologies, preferably in Health care. Experience in technical writing preferred.
