Healthcare Representative Trainee

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission) is an independent not-for-profit organization located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.  We accredit more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

 

We are looking for a professional who will serve as the initial contact for organizations in responding to their inquiries regarding application processing, agenda planning, and/or report analysis for Accreditation.  This entry-level position will be working under the direct supervision of an assigned mentor.  The trainee is expected to acquire skills needed to perform the principal duties and responsibilities of an Account Representative within 6 months.  These would include becoming familiar with software applications, data entry and general use of computer skills, application and survey report processing.


Requirements include: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health or ancillary health discipline along with some related experience in a health care setting. Excellent communication, proficient in customer service and computer skills.
