Hospice: Executive Director



Become a part of our rapidly growing team at Hospice Care of the West, a division of Hallmark Rehabilitation. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the company?s total operations and will provide overall management of clinical regulatory, administrative, and financial direction. You will also be responsible for the growth of the Hospice program within Orange and Los Angeles counties. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:



Ensure regulatory compliance with regard to federal, state, and local laws



Manage all aspects of human resources, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified staff



Oversee orientation and ongoing education of all staff encompassing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of hospice patients and families



Administer and maintain all personnel records, administrative records, and policies and procedures



Develop budgets and controls, billing and cash collections, strategic plan objectives, and financial policies and procedures.





Requirements:



Bachelor?s Degree in business or related field and/or professional license in the field of nursing, human services, or related field



Three to five years of business or clinical management experience, preferably in hospice or related field



Experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collection, and interpreting financial reports.



Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
