In the role of Quality Improvement Specialist, you would enjoy part-time, weekday hours and the reward of helping to build a new program for a hard-working start-up team. Overseeing quality management and performance improvement, the primary responsibilities include:
Reviewing content and ensuring that Medicare guidelines are met
Working closely with medical records to ensure paperwork is together and accurate
Evaluating the content of clinical files
Implementing and monitoring the organization’s quality improvement program
Creating processes to monitor and evaluate safety, risk management and infection control programs
Monitoring organization compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Collaborating with Clinical Service Managers to evaluate and implement employee orientation, competency and education programs



This position requires an RN with a current, unrestricted license in the state of Massachusetts and extensive clinical experience (10 years or more). A background in quality assurance is highly preferred. Previous hospice experience is ideal. Computer proficiency is needed. A Bachelor’s/Master’s is preferred.
