AmerisourceBergen Solutions Group is seeking Implementation Specialists to add to its team for the Eastern and Western Regions.  Under general direction of the Manager ? Implementation, the Implementation Specialist is responsible for the timely and complete implementation of AmerisourceBergen Solutions Group (ABSG) products and services at the customer?s site.  Utilizes strong project management skills to coordinate and lead the installation process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.  Develops clear customer expectations, pre-installation planning, installation, and training through the go-live and post go-live follow-up process.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Clearly communicates progress updates to the project stakeholders and thoroughly documents project progress.Coordinates and leads sales transition calls and customer pre-implementation meetings.Leads routine customer follow-up calls and/or meetings.Works with field manager to evaluate resources, schedule installation, and review project status and/or obstacles.Provides all drawings and product specifications.Manages all customer training including scheduling, training, and training materials.Facilitates resolution to any customer hardware or software issues.Performs customer post-implementation follow-up.Provides weekly written project documentation to customer, sales and management as defined by manager.Provides all internal handoffs to include Customer Service & Support, Contract Management and Finance.Completes and submits all administrative reports on time such as expense reports, project status reports, project plans, and customer training and acceptance documents.Works with implementation team members to help develop new tools and procedures for successful project implementation.Performs related dutes as assigned. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

The ideal candidate will possess broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor?s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.  Normally requires a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years progressively responsible and related experience; previous experience with healthcare applications/integration and familiarity with the healthcare environment preferred.
