Manager, Cardiovascular Lab

This is a managerial position which involves the management of diagnostic and interventional endovascular services, cardiac device implantation, and electrophysiologic and other services.? Position is responsible for the daily operations of Cardiac & Vascular Laboratory, management of staff, financial accountability, physician relations, and ensures compliance with quality assurance and performance improvement standards.

In addition, the Manager is also responsible for maintaining all standards of quality; plans, and directs, all technical aspects of the lab; implements policies and procedures; develops and implements new services and programs;? manages, trains, and educates staff within the lab;? procures and maintains all equipments;? human resources; recommends short and long term goals for departmental planning and implements long-range plans.

The candidate must have Maryland licensure as R.N. or C.V.R.T. and have ACLS certification.? Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventions, cardiac anatomy and physiology, hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition required.? Knowledge of peripheral diagnostic and interventional therapies required.? Previous experience in leadership role in vascular laboratory.? Minimum 3 years in a cardiovascular lab. Perform required competencies as documented on annual performance appraisal.?
