Manager, Regional Loss Prevention

We are recruiting an Administrative Manager of Regional Loss Prevention to join our Risk Management Department.

Summary:
Prevent and mitigate losses to the company by strategically developing and implementing programs designed to reduce claim frequency and change behavior.

Essential Functions:

Analyzes intelligence data to promptly identify risk exposures and proactively provide solutions. Provides appropriate feedback to Regional Senior Management Team.

Works strategically with Regional Senior Management to develop action plans to reduce claim frequency.

Works collaboratively with facility management to assist with the development and implementation of programs designed to meet specific facility challenges.

Monitors facility performance.

Assists with all facility OSHA contacts, visits, citations, plans of correction, abatement, monetary penalty reductions, and attends informal conferences as necessary. Monitors the facility completion of OSHA logs and submits OSHA summary reports.

Conducts training at regional and district meetings. Trains facility staff in Loss Prevention programs, policies, and procedures.

Provides assistance to facilities in selecting facility security systems.

Organizes, evaluates, and assists the Purchasing Department in testing of products and medical devices.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Understanding of and ability to communicate basic Safety principles.

Familiarity with Workers? Compensation process.

Working knowledge of ergonomics and safety principles.

Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.

Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of management.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field.

3 years relevant experience in loss prevention, risk management, safety, nursing or claims management.
