Manager of Provider Relations

ValueOptions a leader in Managed Behavioral Health is currently recruiting for a Manager of Provider Relations in our Coppell, Texas Service Center.

 

A Manager of Provider Relations is responsible for daily operations of local Provider Relations department and all related activities. Manage various levels of activities supporting the recruitment, credentialing and contracting process for potential and current ValueOptions providers. Performs provider outreach and proactive personal contact with providers in their offices and through attendance at professional gatherings as needed and/or required. Provides education and brings provider feedback to the regional or national office for action.  Recruits new providers and works to maintain satisfaction of providers to prevent disenrollment.  Coordinates site visits as needed. Works closely with regional and National Provider Relations staff to efficiently deliver services.
 
Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in a related area.  Master?s degree in human services with a clinical license may be required by some contracts.
At least three years of experience in provider relations, preferably in a behavioral health and/or managed care setting is required.
