Manager of Training and Education

TransCare Corporation, the market leader in medical transportation (ambulance and wheelchair van provider) in the Mid-Atlantic Region, employs more than 2,000 employees in multiple states. We currently have an opportunity for a Manager of Training and Education, based in our Brooklyn, New York headquarters.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of New York Operations, this person will be responsible for directing and coordinating training initiatives for TransCare New York, including development, planning, implementation, administration and measuring effectiveness.  The Manager is also responsible for creating and maintaining a NYS DOH compliant policy and procedure manual.

 

The successful candidate must be a current ALS provider with experience in both EMS Operations and Training.  A minimum of 5 years experience in emergency ALS patient care, as well as 5 years experience teaching and coordinating healthcare education programs, including 3 years at the CIC level, is required.  Required certifications include EMT-P, NYC REMAC, CIC, BCLS, and ACLS.  Preferred certifications include ACLS & PALS instructor.
