Medical Device Liaison

Medical Device Liaison needed for one of out top clients, with the following qualifications:

Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

1. Applications training for customers
2. Applications training to sales and project managers
3. Applications configuration for customers
4. Workflow customization and design to hospital customers
5. Phone and remote application support to customers


The following qualifications are strongly desired:

1. RCIS, RN or RTR with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience.
2. Strong Hemodynamic background, sound understanding of cardiology department workflow.
3. Cardiac Echo and Nuclear Medicine experience a plus.
4. Knowledge of higher level medical communication protocols (i.e. DICOM / HL7)
5. Familiarity of document / registry standards such as JCAHO, NCDR or STS.
6. Experience with Windows XP, Word, Excel
7. Team leader with good interpersonal and organizational skills

Must commit to the position for at least 6-9 months; be available when given assignment.
Will be working with a team of at least 4 other professionals.
Paid Travel Time and expenses. (travel to various locations in the US)
We are looking for highly experienced RN's and/or Cath Lab techs well versed in Cardiology and Cath Lab equipment.

What you will be doing is in a 2-5 day period, going into different hospitals to train the hospital staff on out clients equipment. Communication skills and people skills are very important in this roll; as well as team work and to be able to teach a diverse range of medical professionals.
