Job Description: Medical Front Office Receptionist

 

Job Duties: Scheduling patient appointments, checking patients in and posting charges and payments, collecting co pays and payments on accounts, input patient demographics, answering multi-line phones, confirming next days patient appointments, pulling patient charts for the next day, make new patient charts, send paperwork to new patients, filing of patients charts, order of front office supplies, and assist with checking on patient benefits.

 

Qualifications: Minimum of one year front office experience required. Windows computer knowledge as well as typing, data entry, posting of CPT and ICD9 coding, filing, and knowledge of HMO and PPO insurance plans.
