Member/Provider Services Appeals Representative, Broward County, Florida
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Utilization Management, this position is responsible for support functions within the Utilization Management (UM) Department. He/she will provide coordination of the appeal process, which includes letter generation, filing, record maintenance and reports. Additional responsibilities include reports related to the UM function. .
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or the equivalent required. Medical Assistant training preferred. Proficient with all Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Healthcare knowledge preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Two (2) years progressively responsible administrative experience.
