Responsibilities
To ensure excellence of patient care under the direct supervision of the nurse, the mental health worker complements the nursing process by assisting in the individualized care of patients. Responsible to the Patient Care Manager or his/her designee. High school diploma required, with a college degree preferred. Must be able to speak and write fluently in the English language. Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning. Successfully completes orientation. Basic Life Support. Maintenance of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
