JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this service-oriented position, you will act as a liaison to Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, Ancillary, and Hospitals to educate, troubleshoot, and service their office locations. Perform triage and respond to network inquiries including: provider requests for policy and procedures, Medicaid & CHIP Information, claims status, resolve issues/concerns raised by providers and other external customers.

SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Basic computer skills, some college preferred, solid understanding of Managed Care, outgoing team player, positive attitude, and flexibility. Knowledge of Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is a plus.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:
We are looking for a Provider Relations Representative to join our Aetna Medicaid Services Unit in Dallas, TX to call on physicians in the area as a representative of Parkland Community Health Plan. Travel is required. Relocation assistance in not available.
