The Neurodiagnostics Technologist 1 will provide a collaborative approach with the healthcare team administers routine out-patient and in-patient neurologic testing in the Neurophysiology Laboratory and Intensive Care Units. The Neurodiagnostics Technologist supports and ensures that comprehensive patient care services are being provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team.  This position proactively support the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalent is required

College level coursework in anatomy, physiology, electronics or graduation from an accredited program is preferred

A minimum of 2 years experience in EEG including at least 1 year experience with pediatric patients is preferred

Registration from the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic and Evoked Potentials Technologists. Part I must have been passed on hire, and completion of Part II is required within 6 months of employment date

Ability to demonstrate competencies key to the position required within 6 months of hire
