Supervises and coordinates the West Piedmont Health District?s Nutrition Program and supervises support staff. Interprets and implements policies and procedures, develops goals and objectives, and provides direct nutritional assessment and education to clients. Knowledgeable in maternal child health education, public health practices, proficient in basic computer operations, nutritional assessment, interviewing, counseling, group and individual teaching, and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in group and individual teaching of maternal and child health, bilingual (English/Spanish), and supervisory experience. Must be able to function independently, work well with others, problem-solve, manage conflict, and develop and maintain public relations. Bachelor of Science in nutrition or related field; Registered Dietician preferred. Starting salary range: $31,886 - Negotiable.
