OFFICE SUPERVISOR

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a full-time Office Supervisor. Responsibilities will be focused on the co-management of the registration staff timely and effective delivery of office and administrative support in the medical practice.

 

Job Duties include

?  Supervision and training of  front-desk staff in administrative, reporting and data transmission systems

?  Assists Management in developing procedures for the Registrars daily operations.

?  Run and analyze reports relating to registration  and productivity activity

?  Initiates monthly departmental staff meetings for firm leads to communicate current performance compliance, changes in departmental operations, general organizational information report and correspondence preparation

?  Oversees and the training and skill assessment of the Registrars

?  Conduct support staff employee performance appraisals. Attends and performs In-Services for Registrars as required

?  Keep staff and faculty updated on all ICD-9 and CPT code changes ensure HIPAA compliance in responders? clinic-change requests and management and transference of medical records

 

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related field. The position requires a responsible detail oriented person, who is resourceful and can work independently. Both organizational and interpersonal skills must be highly developed. Mature and professional communication skills that include accuracy, courtesy and compassion are essential. Strong computer skills are necessary, especially spreadsheet and e-mail communication experience. Candidate must be a team player who can also work independently, multi-task, and change priorities without notice.
